BRANDON’S JOURNEY
Brandon Launerts is a two-time Emmy-award winning social media professional with over 13 years experience working side-by-side with some of the most important people in television.
Below you’ll learn how Brandon started from nothing — to managing socials for some of the most important people in television and beyond.
THE INTERNSHIP THAT CHANGED IT ALL
Throughout Brandon’s high school career, he was heavily involved in putting together the school’s daily morning announcements. As TV Club President, he spent most of his time making sure the show had interesting stories so people would watch each morning (because previously nobody was interested in watching the school’s news.)
When Brandon graduated high school, he quickly realized college classes were incredibly boring and he needed to get his hands back into TV. Instead of waiting for his senior year to apply for an internship like most people do, Brandon took a chance and applied to NBC 6 Miami, which is NBCUniversal’s Owned & Operated station. He quickly was accepted for an internship and started off working as a video editor for all of their newscasts. 3 months later, he was offered a part-time position while still in his first year of college.
Brandon then pitched to launch an Instagram account for the station and even offered to run it as he saw it as a growing field. They agreed. NBC 6 was then the first major station in Florida to launch an Instagram account. A year later, Brandon’s hard work led him to winning a News Emmy in 2012. From there, a new social media position was created and Brandon was in charge of running the social strategy for one of the most legendary stations in the country.
ON TO THE NEXT ONE
After over 5 years at NBC, Brandon was ready for a new challenge and offered the opportunity to work for the leading station, WSVN 7 News, in Miami to run their social accounts. This was a brand new position created and offered Brandon the opportunity to lead a team for the first time. Brandon ran at the opportunity and successfully grew their social accounts by over 200% in just 15 months.
CONCRETE
JUNGLE
In 2016, Brandon was recruited at a journalist event in Miami to work for “CBS This Morning,” the national morning show based in New York.
Brandon always dreamed of living in NYC so when he was offered the opportunity, he packed his bags and moved a month later. While at CBS, Brandon ran the social strategy for the morning show, helped rebrand the show twice, taught high-profile journalists how to use social media and worked with various celebrities & guests on a daily basis. Brandon traveled often to cover large events like the 2020 Presidential Inauguration, GRAMMYs, Emmys, Tonys and many more.
Brandon was one of the show’s critical staff during the pandemic and was able to quickly pivot to a remote setup to let the public know what was going on globally via social media during a time of uncertainty. While at CBS, Brandon went on to win his second Emmy, an accomplishment he’s very proud of.
EXPAND YOUR WINGS
Following the pandemic, Brandon was eager to expand his wings and try something new. He was approached with the opportunity to work for Goldman Sachs’ Global Marketing team sitting on the Executive Social team. While it was outside of Brandon’s prior scope of work, he saw it as a way to learn new skills and bring his prior experience to a legendary firm.
SHOW BIZ BABY
When Brandon worked for “CBS This Morning,” he had always wanted to work at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and applied to work as a social producer back in 2018. He didn’t get the job at the time. Years later, he was offered the opportunity to run the digital team as a Senior Producer, he immediately said yes and accepted the job. While there, he rebuilt the team, developed a strong social strategy, created viral content and launched their TikTok to nearly 1 million followers.
THE BIRTH OF
ALL ACCESS
In May of 2023, the Writers Guild of America went on strike for 5 months resulting in Hollywood shutting down. During his time off, Brandon experienced what it was like to work for himself, travel the world and not be dependent on a corporate paycheck or schedule. That freedom opened his eyes to something larger. In January 2024, Brandon launched All Access Social to bring his 13 years of experience to high-profile clients who want to work with someone they can trust. The rest is history.
